A great shot. How do you get to the location to take this shot, i suspect it is near Daw Mill lane but have no idea as to the exact location or how you access it. If you could let me know it would be appreciated

It was taken at a farm crossing just off Daw Mill Lane before you pass under the railway coming from the direction of the B4098

Ooh err! Poor 45110, she looks a bit faded there. Anyway, a marvellous shot there, from what must have been a more than reasonably attended gala; let's hope the profits will be put to good use in repairing the damaged sections of the SVR. Great site; keep up the good work! David Hennessey of http://www.davidhennesseystrainworld.fotopic.net

Hi Matt, nice to see phott's of our machine.l videoed and photted it coming through Sonning cutting, only about a mile from my house, and as luck would have it the sun stayed out for a change.l cleaned it the previous Sunday at OOC and although some people like it dirty if l didn't clean it then the colour would be black in no time.Apart fom that the paint wouldn't last as long.Like the angle you got on it.Keep up the good work.Dave

hi there Matt, these shots look great, but i'm not quite sure where they are.one is dated 24.5.08 at devon, the others the same day seem to be up north somewhere.can you quantum leap? I'd like to film shots here.i.m making minidv tapes of my local places(surrey) and plant to just fill the tape up and start another, as i go, but i need variation in shot and location or maybe do a study of places i come accross.but i am restricted in using a video camera and tri-pod, a place has to be safe, otherwise someone'll leg it with my equipment.what a pain in the nether regions modern life is. great stuff, Patrick

This certainly my favorite shot of the weekend so far. Well done. A combination of the locomotive - without any noticeable blurring - and the lineside furniture really captures an excellent dramatic effect. Quite superb
